One of the main goals of League of Encelia is to support the divisions. By joining as a division, you enrich us by adding members to our community (and numbers to our member count :P ), and help our efforts to expand. By joining us we also hope to enrich your division by providing services to help with running the division and expanding it. Those services are listed below.
Website/Forum Hosting & Design
As a division you have the right to host a website for your division free of charge on the league domain (with FTP access). We will even design a website for you if you request it! You can also have your forums hosted either through a forum category on the main LoE forums, or by getting separate forums hosted for your division on the league domain. For more information, see the Web Hosting & Design page.
Recruits!
Most every clan wants more of these. By joining LoE you automatically increase the number of recruits you can gain. LoE members of one division often join other divisions that are also in games that interest them, so if you have a game that interests current LoE members, they may be attracted to your division as well. We also have many affiliated people who visit our forums, usually former members or friends of LoE members. These people may take an interest in your division and become LoE members by joining it! And since new divisions allow us to expand, as we gain more LoE divisions and more members, it will increase the potential number of recruits you can gain through us even more!
Clan Advice
Running clans isn't as easy as it sometimes looks. There are many people in LoE who have been through it and can help you run your clan, particularly if you are just starting out. There is no specific procedure for this service. Simply talk to someone with experience and ask them for suggestions if you want advice. The clan founder, Tanweth (also the writer of all of this information), can definitely help you. You can also simply talk to the League of Encelia president, who can at least direct you to someone else who might be able to help you. Also, since the LoE leadership likes to keep in contact with division leaders, it may be that such advice simply comes up in conversation with us. How you want to use this "service" is up to you, but it is always available. :)
